Lighthouse Trail Clearing

The Virgin Islands Trail Alliance and the St. Croix Hiking Association are collaborating to clear existing public access trails on the Island of St. Croix.  The Lighthouse Trail has been a favorite destination for many locals, and visitors to the Island.  Our organizations would like to add trail features such as Historical Interpretation signage to this site.  We are also working through the St. Croix Administrators Office to obtain assistance from WAPA, for the removal of the downed power poles and cables that traverse the trail, since the recent hurricanes. We are also seeking assistance, from the DPW to make road improvements leading to the site from Frederiksted.
